There are a variety of ways to get in touch with ACPS.

From enrollment and grading policies to safety procedures and student performances, there are a variety of reasons for which families, employees, community members and other stakeholders need to communicate with ACPS.

ACPS Family Information Lines

Family liaisons connect ACPS families in need of assistance to relevant staff and resources through our Information Lines. During the school year, families can text or call the Family Information Lines Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

When you have a question, concern, or comment you want to share with ACPS leadership, connect with our community engagement team to ensure your message is routed correctly.

Department Directory

When you need to speak with a specific department, office or program, use this directory to find the main phone number of the department.


When you need to communicate with your child’s teacher or counselor, use ParentSquare to direct message staff, excuse an absence, sign-up for parent-teacher conferences and more.

Speak with an Interpreter

When you want to have an interpreter on the phone line with you when you call your child’s school, dial ACPS’s toll-free number and enter the school’s unique language code.

When you want access to public records, make a request under the Virginia Freedom of Information Act. 

Feedback & Concerns

If you have a concern, inquiry, or suggestion, we want to help. Many questions or issues involving a specific student can be resolved at the school level. Start by contacting your child’s teacher, school support staff, or the front office.
